Chart notes
CRAFTY COLLECTOR assumed early command, set the pace from off of the rail into the backstretch, met the bid of ANNIE GOODBODY to upper stretch, battled outside of that rival into the final furlong then drifted in in deep stretch, shook free of the runner-up late and edged away to prove best. ANNIE GOODBODY settled inside, mounted a rail bid to upper stretch, battled inside of CRAFTY COLLECTOR past the furlong grounds, got put in tight late when CRAFTY COLLECTOR drifted in then was outfinished by the winner and was a clear second. STARSHIP MELODY tracked outside, chased four wide upper, closed for third. MOM'S MARTINI tracked between two to three wide, chased to upper stretch, weakened late. MAJUSTIFY tracked inside, well placed to half-mile, gave way far turn. THE JOCKEY OF ANNIE GOODBODY LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST THE JOCKEY OF CRAFY COLLECTOR, CLAIMING INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH DRIVE. THE STEWARDS DISALLOWED THAT OBJECTION AND RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
