Chart notes
BANJO CHRIS settled outside the third flight three to four wide, bided till swinging seven wide into upper stretch, took aim, surged past late outside. HIGH FRONT had forward position in pursuit of the leader from outside, floated four wide turning for home under urging and commencing a bid, took a narrow lead about the quarter pole, came out a bit further, dueled through the lane, was outfinished. DHABAB (IRE) settled inside the third flight off the leaders, came out turning into upper stretch coming to the quarter pole four wide, bid late from between runners but was not enough. THAT'S RIGHT was coaxed clear early, set the pace near the inside, came out leaving the turn to meet outside challengers from the three path, dueled till late then yielded. LET MY PEOPLE GO stalked from between runners in the second flight just in behind the leader, angled out side wide in mid-stretch and ran on but needed more to threaten. DOUBLE CLUTCH chased from outside, was mostly three to four wide, failed to rally. MO STASH tracked from inside just in behind the leader, saved ground on the turn, had room at the rail at the top of the stretch but could not kick on and weakened. BAL A KAZOO lacked early speed racing well back near the inside, was never close enough to threaten. DUNEDIN dwelt at the start spotting the field at least six lengths from the start, lacked early speed dropping back even further, improved some catching up with the field outside late on the turn, lacked the needed late kick. LOFTY ADJUDICATOR pursued from between runners off the pace, retreated and faded. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
