Chart notes
SOUTHERN HORSE (ARG) settled off of a sharp early pace while saving ground, angled out nearing the three eighths, made a quick four wide run to threaten near the quarter pole, forged clear under a hustling ride soon after, opened up into the lane, stayed on his left lead and held firm. MISTER AGENT , three wide chasing the early pace, edged up between foes near the five sixteenths, steadied briefly near the quarter pole, shifted out to advance between runners into the stretch, kept on gamely to the inside of THANK YA PETE and edged that one out for the place. THANK YA PETE , off the pace, gained between rivals into the far turn, angled out to briefly be about four wide, advanced three deep into the lane, battled outside MISTER AGENT and flattened out in the final jumps. CLOUD MUSIC sped clear into the first turn, set a brisk pace along the inner rail, ceded command leaving the quarter pole. SAGRADA RAY broke a step slow, regrouped and secured the inside, was under pressure chasing past the three eighths but came up empty through the final quarter mile. GABRIEL SEVEN lost ground four wide into the backstretch, rushed up three wide nearing the far turn, chased briefly then dropped back leaving the three sixteenths. STRONG FINISH leaned in at the break brushing with a rival, corrected and showed speed outside CLOUD MUSIC, chased to the far turn, faltered leaving the far turn and was eased late.
