Chart notes
THE WOLFMAN , deftly rated back from between horses approaching the first turn, stalked the pace, responded in the stretch, closed between foes and determinedly prevailed. EL DIVINO NINO bumped with SQUARE SLICE leaving the starting gate, stayed outside horses down the backstretch, was four deep entering the far turn, challenged for the lead outside the winner and just missed in a game. MEDAGOOCH set a fast pace along the inner rail, was clear in upper stretch and faded late. FOGGY DEW remained along the inner rail on the turns, angled out in upper stretch and failed to menace. SQUARE SLICE bumped with EL DIVINO NINO at the start, circled the far turn three wide, floated out in upper stretch and came up empty. GREAT QUALITY prompted the pace outside MEDAGOOCH and faltered entering the far turn.
