Chart notes
FLOATING tracked the pacesetter into the turn, came under right handed encouragement at the head of the lane, responded and advanced to challenge KAELY'S CANDY for the lead, vied past the furlong marker then shook free and finished clear. KAELY'S CANDY sped to the lead at the start, cleared and angled to the inside, set the uncontested pace up the backstretch and held firm around the turn, took on the challenge from FLOATING in the upper stretch, vied past the furlong marker then failed to match late and settled for clearly second best. DIAMOND OF EKATI tracked the top pair up the backstretch, edged closer late on the turn, put to a drive three wide at the head of the lane, was no match for the clear top pair but ran on and cleared show. TRIBAL SPIRIT raced in the back, drifted wide turning for home and never threatened. SHANIAH was not too far back in the opening quarter, failed to advance when called upon around the turn and faded in the lane.
