Chart notes
CON ON THE RUN set the pace within a jump from the gate, quickly opened a clear, well measured lead, kicked away turning for home and was unthreatened in the lane. SILVER STYLE reserved off the pace to be at the back of the main body of the field, circled six wide when commencing his bid and closed well to be gaining late as second best. BEAR CREEK stalked the pace from three wide through the turn, angled in for the drive and mounted a grinding rally to be up for the show late. DANEFIELD prompted the pace through the turn to be well placed turning for home, failed to gain on the winner and ran-on through the lane for a minor award. HE'S ON THE FLY saved ground tracking the leaders to midway on the turn, angled five wide leaving the quarter pole to rally in upper stretch and flattened out finishing evenly. REJECTED AGAIN was outrun.
