Chart notes
TIME FOR AN ANGEL set a well rated, well measured pace to midway on the far turn, kicked away when called upon and was unthreatened in the lane while in hand. RED PIXIE unhurried to be near the rear of the field to the head of the lane, swung out five wide and mounted a belated bid to be up for the place. LA PANDA prompted the winner for three-quarters, could not keep pace with that one and kept-on willingly. DOMINANT STRANGER rated in mid-pack to the far turn, rallied to threaten on the turn, failed to pass and chased the winner in the lane flattening out late. PATH TO VICTORY stalked the pace for a half, failed to mount a clsoing kcik on the bend and faded coming home. BOURBON BLAST was not a factor. DAME MAUDE CHARDIN reared at th start while still held by the assistant starter losing the rider at the gate and was declared a non-starter. THE STEWARDS POSTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE START AND UPON REVIEW DECLARED DAME MAUDE CHARDIN A NON-STARTER HAVING RECEIVED AN UNFAIR START.
