Chart notes
ROWSIE EXPRESS settled off the pace outside, rallied into the stretch and was up in the late yards. MERRYCHILL saved ground throughout, squeezed through along the rail in the stretch but was outfinished. NOISY ON THE BAY hustled to the front, vied through the final turn and continued gamely to the finish. MAVILUS prompted the pace, dueled and led to mid-stretch then tired slightly. AMBITIOUSLY PLACED dropped back early, bid wide on the final turn and flattened out. DIXIE GROOVE flashed speed then gave way after half mile.
