Chart notes
MIDNIGHT AMBITION set the pace on a well rated, well measured lead, repellied the runner-up turning for home and drew clear in a determined drive. THIRD CITY stalked the winner throughout, rallied on the turn to attempt to engage that one, was unable to get passed and kept-on willingly through the lane to hold the place. MOHTAFIL hesitated at the start spotting the field a couple lengths, raced up the inisde to be close up down the backside, saved ground on the far turn, idled nearing the quarter pole waiting for racing room and finished with good interest in the lane but could not gain ground having lost momentum at the top of the lane. EXPRESS STAR tracked the leaders to the far turn from between rivals, rallied to prominence on the bend and finished evenly unable to sustain the rally. TRADE IMBALANCE was not a factor.
