Chart notes
SARDIS stalked three wide up close to and outside the leader, moved to the lead about the quarter pole, forged clear by mid-stretch, held while being kept to task. WALLEY WORLD was forwardly-placed stalking between runners in behind the leaders, raced three to four wide, gained steadily through the stretch but was not enough. UNLEASH THE POWER was unhurried toward the rear outside foes then between rivals, began to rally between runners in upper stretch, came out in mid-stretch, continued to gain but was too little too late. MARY'S BOY BOLT shifted in, tracked in behind inside saving ground, was ridden along past the five-sixteenths, came out several paths past the furlong marker, got up over a rival late to improve position. NUDGE moved to the early lead, set the pace from off the rail shadowed by foes not far behind, was challenged late on the turn, overtaken at the quarter pole, weakened late. MOVE TO GOLD settled well back inside, saved ground on the turn, moved out past the five-sixteenths, showed good late effort. ASKARI was in a bit tight after the start, lacked early speed bringing up the rear off the inside, swung seven wide into upper stretch before moving out further, kicked on mildly outside. CONCORD GREEN chased outside foes in the second group racing four wide, came out a bit for the drive under urging, steadily weakened. WINNEBAGO (IRE) chased from outside foes mid-pack, was mostly three to four deep through the turn, failed to menace. GAMBLERS TAIL came out soon after the break, raced outside foes on the turn three to four wide dropping back, was not a factor. OY GEVALD steadied when in tight about the five- and one-half, raced inside off the pace, came up empty.
