Chart notes
PHAROAH'S WINE tucked in behind the leaders three wide outside a rival, moved out six deep in the stretch making a bid at the eighth pole, drove clear. SPARKLE BLUE got away well going straight to the fore, set the pace inside shadowed by outside rivals, was headed leaving the turn but fought on, dug in gamely never giving up and was second best. ADRASTEIA made an early move outside five wide past the seven-sixteenths getting within range of the leaders, bid in upper stretch, evened out. GRAYOSH moved forward early to track inside in behind the leader but off the fence, bided time till the stretch, tipped out four to five wide, kept on late to get up for the super. WATCHTOWER was up close outside entering the turn three to four wide, bid coming past the quarter pole, lacked the needed late kick. VIVE VEUVE pressed from between runners two to three wide, bid at the five-sixteenths, lacked the needed late kick. WAVES OF MISCHIEF was a bit keen under a hold in behind runners inside in the early going, switched out racing off the inside, failed to menace. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
