EIGHT SEVEN MAGIC vied for the early lead while two wide on the backstretch, was in a long sustained drive inside in the stretch and was best in the end. KOCHAN vied for the early lead while four wide on the backstretch, was two wide in the stretch and dug in but was out finished in late stretch. STONINGTON stumbled at the start then was settled, rallied two wide on the turn but was no menace in the stretch. HANK HILL vied for the lead while inside, was hard used then gave way. SIR TOM vied for the lead while three wide into the turn, was hard used then faltered. PRINCE PIERRE dropped back and was no factor.
