Chart notes
SNAPPY COMEBACK shifted to the rail about the five-eighths, tracked in behind about mid-pack, saved ground but was in tight passing the five-sixteenths, bided time and had room at the rail in the stretch, launched a bid inside taking over near the sixteenth pole and drew clear. CATALONIA set the pace from off the rail, was no match but clearly second best. COLLECTIVE BEAUTY came out at the start, stalked in behind mostly three wide, was in a bit tight quarters about the five-sixteenths, floated out six wide at the eighth pole, kept on to get up for third. CLOWNING AROUND stalked outside the early leader, made a mild bid past the quarter pole under stout urging, could not kick on, lost show honors late. WOODSTOCK tracked inside on or just off the rail, moved out about the five-sixteenths appearing to make incidental contact while in tight, came out six wide in mid-stretch, needed more. LOVELY GREY switched out off the rail at the five-eighths, stalked mid-pack two to three wide, moved out to be seven to ten wide in the stretch, ran on. DREAMING COLLECT chased from outside four to five wide, floated wider for the drive, failed to rally. EMILY'S JOY was outside toward the rear, came to mid-stretch six deep, was never near enough to threaten. IN THE AGGREGATE chased outside mid-pack three to five wide, dropped back. MESCAT was in tight after the break, lacked early speed near the inside into the turn, came out past the five-sixteenths, was never near enough to threaten. TALE OF LADY MARIA was in tight and squeezed back after the start, lacked early speed, was outpaced.
