Chart notes
VINTUR shifted in early on the turn, settled mid-pack saving ground, came out five to six wide in upper stretch, bid about the three-sixteenths, drew clear. ARCHIMEDES came in at the start bumping a rival, soon led, set the pace from off the rail, was no match for the winner, held the place. HIGH HONORS tracked in behind inside, saved ground, kept on for show. BLUEGRASS TOWN stalked in behind the leaders off the inside, moved out six to seven wide for the stretch run, kept on but needed more. WAY BEYOND pressed the pace, was three wide on the turn, weakened. BRAVE FORCE broke outwardly, settled at the back off the inside, came out eight wide in mid-stretch, improved position. AU NATUREL settled near the inside about mid-pack, was one-paced. HELMET OF WILL broke out a bit, was up close pursuing the leaders four wide through the turn, dropped back and faded. QUESTION ANSWERED switched out off the inside, raced at the back mostly two to four wide, failed to menace. WONDER MIST was bumped at the start, moved up outside chasing five to six wide, dropped back and faded. FREE CHOICE settled at the back inside, was not a factor.
