Chart notes
BLAZING BUCCHERO settled outside off the pace, began to advance while shifting out late on the turn, fanned five to six wide, bid near the eighth pole, kicked clear, held sway. DADDY HAS DIAMONDS settled at the back, fanned seven deep turning for home, gained steadily but was not enough. WALKING IN MEMPHIS stalked in behind outside a foe, was under urging past the five-sixteenths, came into upper stretch four wide, bid briefly past the three-sixteenths, was no match for the top pair but best of the rest. PIPERS REIGN exchanged minor contact at the start, chased in behind, moved nearer the rail on the turn saving ground, tipped out a few paths for the drive, ran on. FLIRTING WITH FIRE exchanged a light bump at the start, settled off the pace, angled five to six wide coming into upper stretch, failed to menace. KOKOMO exchanged a light bump at the start, chased first inside then off the rail, came past the quarter pole three wide and under urging, weakened. FAITH exchanged incidental contact at the start, set the pace from off the rail, faded.
