Chart notes
IRISH SPARK broke sharp, in hand prompted the pace inside into the far turn, quickened inside leaving the quarter pole, drew away convincingly through the final sixteenth. MIDNIGHT DATE saved ground off the top pair into the far turn, clean sailing along the rail through the final furlong, chased on willingly no match for runaway winner. RAZ ON FIRE tracked the pace three wide into the second bend, under pressure while running on the wrong lead, evened out for the show through the final stages. IMA MIDNIGHT LADY broke sharp, rated back off the pace into the first turn, relaxed well back into the second bend, roused inside upper, no late response. CHINATOWN GIRL set a modest tempo under restraint into the far turn, pressed into action leaving the three eights marker, between runners through the lane, gave way to the wire. MADAM LEE sluggish around the first turn, never factored.
