Chart notes
MIDNITE ALEX broke step slow, accelerated into the turn, eased up four wide around the bend, assumed control leaving the quarter pole, under strong handling while running on the wrong lead, drew away through then final sixteenth. GRAYHOP raced off the pace and off the rail into the turn, bid five deep through the lane, no match from the furlong marker, chased on willingly to nail down the place money. SPAN very slow into stride, trailer around the bend, put to task six deep leaving the quarter pole, rallied with vigor through the final sixteenth, missed the place clear for the show. COOLTHING chased mid pack to the turn, bid four wide turning for home, flattened out through the final stages. SOMETHINTOBELIEVEN raced off the pace into the turn, rail bid through the lane, had no late punch. AWESOME DREW hustled up at the start, vied inside around the bend, gave way under pressure through the stretch. FAST CROSS TRAFFIC clean start, vied two wide around the turn, faltered through the stretch.
