Chart notes
JIGGER broke well from the outside, faced forwardly and three wide while under slight restraint for three furlongs, moved to challenge on the outside in upper straight, took over and shook clear, just enough left to withstand a late charge from the runner up. KARATE ISLAND broke, back, settled behind the leaders in the two path, behind horses into the stretch, continued in traffic upper stretch, switched out, late run, finished willingly to narrowly miss. JEWELL'S INDENIAL back off the pace while outside after breaking back, four wide through the bend, set down for the drive, rallied while remaining well out in the course to be in time for the show, no real threat to the top two. DAUNTED pressed the issue early off the inside, joined the leader and dueled outside that one late turn, offered little resistance to the winner when that one came alongside into the stretch, weakened, lost the show late. SOHANDSOMETOME broke well, showed the way up the backstretch inside, dueled into the stretch, began to weaken when straightened for home, continued to falter the final furlong. MY BROTHERS ANGEL fell back to trail after the start, continued to fade and was well beaten at the end.
