Chart notes
STYLE TO FOLLOW slow to leave the gate, quickly moved up to stalk the pace three wide, vied with rival through the turn before taking command at the top of the stretch, showed a driving finish to hold off rallying foe. LADY ARWEN raced behind the pace in the two path, advanced through the turn to enter the stretch in a competitive position four wide, showed a mild rally late. BAD TEMPER rated along the inside, settled off the pace through the turn to angle towards the outside the stretch, finished well. SIMMERING pressed the early pace from the two path, claimed a brief lead after the first quarter before being challenged by foe to vie through the turn by outside foe, gave way at the top of the stretch, weakened in the final furlong. ILLUSION OF HOPE was the first out of the gate to claim the early lead on the inside, relinquished the lead a the half, fell back through the turn, angled out towards the two path in the stretch but had nothing to offer. MELODIA trailed throughout, no factor.
