Chart notes
DOCTOR LEO paused early when SONOFASHIP crossed in front, stalked outside a rival then two wide into the turn, loomed three wide late on the bend, drew alongside the leader entering the lane, took over in upper stretch and drew away. SONOFASHIP established the front from outside and crossed over once in the clear, showed the way along the inside then two wide late on the bend, challenged by DOCTOR LEO turning for home, yielded to that rival past the eighth pole and stayed on to hold second. BLAME ME SERIOUSLY tracked off the rail, took the turn two then three wide, drifted to the rail in the lane, could not threaten the top pair late and held third. YORKTOWN PANTHER broke a step slow and lost a clear path, moved to the inside, went two wide into the stretch and kept on to earn a minor award. CALI DREAMIN broke out and bumped, stalked from inside, climbed early on the turn and lost ground, continued on the rail to the stretch and weakened. GIMME IT ALL raced at the back outside a rival then three wide into the turn, angled to the inside trailing around the bend and never got involved.
