Chart notes
VALIANT EXCHANGE broke alertly to take the lead from the gate, set the pace while well rated on a well measured lead, continued to control to deep stretch and held on in the final yards. DRUNKLE stalked the pace down the backside, mounted a rally four wide nearing the quarter pole, continued a steady bid through the lane edging ever closer to the winner and ran out of real estate setlling for second best. ALPHA CAT unhurried to be the trailer at the quarter pole, angled six wide for the stretch drive and found his best stride late to be gaining in deep stretch. CHUBS ROCKET saved ground throughout, cut the corner turning for home and mounted a mild bid up the fence without impact. NONE THE WISER prompted the pace while well held inside the pacesetter, tipped three wide with a rally at the quarter pole from between rivals and flattened out in the lane.
