Chart notes

JAVA BUZZ came away in good order, angled in while going to the front, was well rated with a clear lead, controlled the action in the two path on the turn, was asked once straightened for the drive, responded well when put to a left-handed crop just outside the furlong marker, remained clear into the final sixteenth and just held under strong urging. ALEXIS ZORBA (GB) settled at the rear, dropped from the three path to the two path early on the turn, was roused near the quarter-pole, came out and bumped DEVIL IN DISGUISE while forcing his way out in upper stretch, rallied in the final furlong and closed with a rush to just miss but earned the place. TYPHOON FURY broke a half-step slow, angled in and advanced inside early then settled off the pace, saved ground on the turn, was roused outside the quarter-pole, turned into the stretch in the two path, chased the winner in the drive, gained willingly late and earned the show. SPOKEN BLUNTLY was off a half-step slow, moved out near the five-eighths pole then raced up close on the outside, rounded the turn in the three path, was asked outside the quarter-pole, chased the winner in the stretch and lacked the needed kick then missed the show. DEVIL IN DISGUISE settled on the outside without cover, went around the turn in the four path, came under urging late on that bend, was bumped by the runner-up and forced out in upper stretch then also lacked the needed kick. SCREAMING UNCLE was hustled from the gate, settled off the pace, moved from the two path to the inside early on the turn, was asked near the five-sixteenths pole, spun into the stretch in the two path, moved further out inside the three-sixteenths pole and failed to rally.
