Chart notes
PINEDALE broke alertly and was sent for the early lead, contested the pace from the outside into the turn, shook free into upper stretch then kicked clear at the furlong grounds, kept to task into the final sixteenth and held sway to the wire. JARLIAN sent to contest the early pace from the inside, dueled on even terms with PINEDALE to the quarter marker, was outkicked by that rival into upper stretch, fought on into the final sixteenth, could not reel in the winner late and was a clear second. THISPOINTINTIME raced close up to the early pace while between runners, took back then chased the leading pair to the quarter marker and lacked the needed response in the stretch.
