Chart notes

DANVILLE , urged along while well off the early pace, crept closer mid way on the final turn, worked between rivals near the three sixteenths then shifted inside, sustained under left handed encouragement, wrested command leaving the sixteenth pole, briefly edged clear then dug in to prove best. STRONGER TOGETHER angled out into the first turn and stalked the pace, was coaxed along chasing four wide into the lane, ranged up near mid stretch and continued on with effort. MIDNIGHT BLUE NOTE was sent to a brief early lead, ceded to an outer foe then angled out to stalk, came back on under a ride and engaged FLYING SAMURAI leaving the far turn, was urged clear approaching the stretch, clung to advantage past mid stretch, was taken on from both sides near the sixteenth pole and gave in. FLYING SAMURAI moved up three wide into the first turn to take over and then clear, dropped in to set the pace, was hooked past the half, stayed on to the head of the lane then tired.
