Chart notes
STORMY PARADISE hit the gate leaving it, recovered to chase the leaders on the inside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the three path, challenged in upper stretch and got up for the win late. SARISSA raced in the middle of the pack on the outside early, navigated the turn from the two path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and improved position in the lane. GOLD DEL MAR raced off the pace up the backstretch, swung out to the four path coming around the bend, began a bid entering the stretch and gained ground late. TIMBAVATI raced in the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and chased on to the finish. SPOTAWAY led the way through the opening quarter, saved ground around the bend and weakened in late stretch. ULTIMA GRACE tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the four path and showed no kick in the lane. CAUSE IMA ROSE trailed the field up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and never threatened.
