RAY OF SUNSHINE quickest around the first turn, set a pressured pace along the rail leaving the quarter pole, under strong handling lugged inward impeded foe leaving the sixteenth marker, held sway driving to the wire. DQ'd Fourth. DIRECT APPEAL rated inside just off the top trio into the far turn, rail bid from the furlong marker, bumped in deep stretch, chased on willingly. FLYIN MAYAN raced off the pace three wide, put to task four deep circled the field leaving the quarter pole, found best strides late, rallied with good energy for the show. GIMMETHATSUGAR rated off the pace into the far turn, called up between runners leaving the quarter pole, bumped inward approaching the sixteenth marker, evened out under the wire. ANNAPOLIS ROAD stalked the pace around the first turn, pressed the leader two wide into the second bend, under pressure through the lane, had no late punch. K. BEE rated kindly around the first turn, given the que three deep around the far turn, chased into the lane, weakened through the final sixteenth. THERER WERE TWO CLAIMS OF FOUL AGAINTS THE WINNER IN THIS RACE, THE RIDERS OF DIRECT APPEAL AND GIMMETHATSUGAR CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF RAY OF SUNSHINE FOR INTEREFERENCE IN DEEP STRETCH, AFTER THE JUDGE'S REVIEW, RAY OF SUNSHINE WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACE FOURTH.
