Chart notes
ARABIAN FLIRT stalked two or three wide to the stretch, bid between rivals nearing eighth marker, gained control then edged away and safely held off runner-up. WINNING LOVER broke out, showed early foot, pressed inside rival into the turn, moved up three then four wide, grabbed lead entering the stretch, was overtaken by winner approaching eighth pole and went willingly to the wire. SPIRITIST chased from the outside, remained three or four wide on the turn then five wide into the stretch and wore down inside rival late for third. THE KEY IS UNITY was sent up from between rival to gain lead, was under pressure around the turn, relinquished control exiting the bend and weakened in the drive. TIGER STRENGTH was within range from the inside to the turn, remained along the rail into the stretch then faded in the drive.
