MOONLIGHT ROAD raced two wide around the first turn, settled off the top pair and tracked rivals up the backstretch, let out a notch entering the far turn, loomed a threat near the quarter pole, given cue three wide at the head of the lane, cleared command at the furlong marker and finished going away. COME ON MULITCH pressed the pace around the first turn, continued to force the issue up the backstretch, dueled outside of RIDING DOUBLE around the far turn, battled on into the upper stretch, got overtaken by the winner near the furlong marker and settled for second best. RIDING DOUBLE set a pressured pace around the first turn, continued with a slim lead up the backstretch, dueled inside of COME ON MULITCH around the far turn, fought back into the upper stretch, was no match when the winner took over with a furlong left to run, kept on and held a share. CLOUDY HOLIDAY was allowed to settle around the first turn, continued unhurried up the backstretch, hustled two wide around the far turn, ran on three to four wide in the lane and lacked the needed response for serious impact. PERSCRIPTURE trailed throughout.
