QUICKTRIP VAN laid up close along the hip of the inner pacesetter in the two path, bid from the three path midway around the turn, kicked on to lead from the four path passing the furlong grounds, and edged clear. DRIVEHAPPY trailed inside, improved under coaxing from the rail around the turn, angled out to the five path passing the eighth pole, and rallied for place. UNDER OATH bumped with an outer foe at the start, showed the way along the inside, was nudged along into the turn, got challenged by the winner midway around the turn, fought on in upper stretch, but yielded in the final sixteenth. MAIUS bumped with an inner foe at the start, chased in the four path, was driven around the turn, but weakened in the stretch. COMMUNICATIONISKEY stalked in the three path but yielded around the turn.
