Chart notes
FROUTIEN cut the pace from the two path under pressure from THIRSTED to the outside, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, spun three then two wide into upper stretch, edged away under a drive kept to task. ROYAL RIDDLE chased just off the inside and then along the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. TOP PLAYER stumbled at the break recovering inwards, chased along the inside coming under brief coaxing three furlongs out, angled four wide into upper stretch and was set down straightened away for home, ran on through to the finish. THE OBLITERATOR broke out at the start filling the space left vacated by the outwards breaking THIRSTED, chased three then two wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, swung four wide into upper stretch, kept on to the wire. HURRICANE KAZ lunged at the start, chased four then three wide under urging from the three-eighths marker, angled six wide into upper stretch, weakened. THIRSTED broke out at the start and was corrected, pressed the pace of FROUTIEN from the outside three wide under encouragement from three furlongs out, tipped five wide at the head of the stretch, tired.
