Chart notes
EIGHTYSIXCHEVY set the pace under pressure from COASTAL KID, turned back a bid from that one nearing the eighth pole and drew clear late. COASTAL KID prompted EIGHTYSIXCHEVY from along the outside, moved up to offer a bid to that one nearing the eighth pole but was unable to match strides with him late while proving to be second best. LEMON MERINGUE was three-wide early racing close-up, angled to the inside to saved ground on the turn, swung out to be three-wide entering the stretch and went evenly. LORD SHELDON was unhurried early, rallied four-wide into the stretch but was unable to seriously threaten.
