Chart notes
MICANOPY stalked the early pace from the inside, angled out to upper stretch and responded into the final furlong, battled OTHER LEVEL to the final sixteenth, wore down the runner-up in deep stretch and edged away in the final strides. OTHER LEVEL pressed the pace three then two wide into the turn, vied for the lead to upper stretch then took command at the furlong grounds, met the bid of MICANOPY and battled to the final sixteenth, grudgingly gave way to the winner in deep stretch and was well clear for second. MAGIC SOLAR broke alertly and assumed early command, set a contested pace from the inside into the turn, was overtaken into upper stretch, gave way in the final furlong and was clear for third. HE'S MY UNCLE rated off of the early pace, raced in tight between rivals into the turn, was outkicked to upper stretch and weakened in the final furlong. LIGHTING ARROW settled while never far back in the early stages, tracked the pace four to five wide nearing the quarter marker, was outrun to upper stretch then came up empty in the drive.
