Chart notes
VERN got bumped by outside rival at the start, recovered quickly and advanced between rivals to take a slight edge, vied inside of FLAT OUT CHROME around the turn, cut the corner and shook free entering the head of the lane, ran on gamely and held firm. HURRIKANE WARNING got bumped at the start then advanced and briefly pressed the early pace, then edged back and raced just off the duel entering the turn, lacked a clear path near the inside, shifted out and given cue three wide entering the top of the lane, ranged up to race in striking distance but failed to reach the winner while clearing second best. PLAIN FLAT OUT weakened after the start and raced in the back, chased three wide around the turn, came four paths into the head of the lane, shifted in to race two wide, ran on and secured show. DANZING MIST broke in and took a solid bump with rival at the start, recovered quickly and was forwardly placed, chased three wide in striking distance near the quarter pole, drifted wider into the drive and flattened out. FLAT OUT CHROME pressed the pace in opening stages, vied outside of eventual winner around the turn, was no match at the head of the lane and gave way past the furlong marker. MOEDE'S BEJEWELED briefly raced in close contention in early stages then faded entering the turn.
