CORSIA VELOCE settled in behind the leaders inside, came off the rail early up the backstretch advancing mildly then back in, saved ground on the far turn, tipped out for the drive, bid between foes past the furlong marker, took a narrow lead near the sixteenth pole and held while being kept busy. HOT MASH moved clear and shifted in to set the early pace from just off the rail, was overtaken past the five-eighths and let that one go stalking in behind, moved on the far turn making a secondary bid at the top of the stretch four to five wide, was outkicked for the top prize but kept on to secure the place. LA CULASSE was just lightly bumped at the start, stalked three wide early, moved rapidly to the lead past the five-eighths and cleared, dictated terms, was challenged in mid-stretch but kept on gamely while simply being outkicked. DANCE TO THE MUSIC (GB) broke a step slowly, was in tight between runners steadying just slightly early, settled down and unhurriedly brought up the rear, swung nine wide for the drive, gained modestly widest of all but needed more. DEEP LEARNING came in then altered back out early, went three to four wide through the first turn settling well off the leaders, still raced outside toward the rear with much to do on the far turn, asked for more past the quarter pole, swung six deep into upper stretch, ran on well but needed more. DIXIE LAW was forwardly-placed outside in pursuit of the leaders, went three to four wide both turns, came out a bit for the drive, failed to rally. STAR ATTRACTION bumped a rival just lightly at the start, was caught three to four wide early, settled mid-pack up the backstretch, swung eight wide turning for home, weakened. SWEET FUSION chased up close inside early, dropped back up the backstretch, was just off the rail on the far turn, weakened in the stretch. PINA COLADA was a bit headstrong early racing off the rail, settled down saving ground thereafter and racing toward the rear, failed to menace.
