Chart notes

CAPANAPARO coaxed from the gate, chased the pace dispute along the inside until tipped three wide at the half mile pole, went three then two wide through the turn coming under coaxing at the three-eighths marker, went six wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command a furlong out, edged clear to the finish. BOD BEACH hustled from the start, vied from the two path down the backstretch inside a pair of rivals, tucked inside half a mile from home, came under coaxing at the three-eighths pole, took the inside route into upper stretch emerging with sole command straightened away, got caught a furlong from home, kept on to preserve the place honors. FORT GRIFFIN vied four then three wide outside a pair of foes, came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, swung four wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. ESCAPE HALL coaxed from the start, vied three then two wide between foes coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun two to three wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late going. HOOSICK FALLS coaxed from the gate, was briefly between foes before being shaken off by the pace dispute, chased two to three wide down the backstretch until tucked inside half a mile from home, got pushed along at the seven-sixteenths, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch, and trailed when outrun.
