Chart notes
WINDRUSH tracked the early pace from the inside, was well placed to the quarter pole, made a sustained rail rally into the final furlong, closed willingly into the final sixteenth and got up in the final strides for a good win. SHANCELICIOUS showed good speed away from the start, assumed early command and set a decent pace to the quarter marker, held a clear lead to mid-stretch, was all out into the final sixteenth then was caught in the final strides by the winner and held safely for second. BELLA MENDY settled early, advanced three to four wide to upper stretch, was gaining into the final sixteenth and got up in time for the show honors. SWEET SASH chased the pace three wide into the turn, ran in pursuit to mid-stretch, could not find more into the final sixteenth and was outkicked in the late stages. WANT ALL THE SMOKE broke alertly, took back off of the early pace and tracked from the inside heading to the turn, angled off of the rail to upper stretch and did not offer a late response. R WINS AREN'T LUCK off slow to begin, lacked early speed and was not a factor.
