Chart notes
ELEGANT BOY was outsprinted to the backstretch, rallied outside rivals and three wide a furlong out then continued to close and prevailed. RES IPSA LOQUITUR was sent for speed, dueled off the rail for a half mile, responded to the stretch then could not hold off the winner. POLACCO was on pace from the rail, got crowded leaving the quarter pole and had to check inside rivals, was outkicked to the stretch but kept to task to get third. MISSED CALL had no speed, made a bid inside into the second turn then ran up horse's heels, steadied into the stretch but recovered and finished willingly. CHELSIESDANZIGLITE hustled to dispute the pace from the rail, stayed on to the stretch then weakened. CORN POP was mid pack to the quarter pole, got fanned four wide to the stretch and did not rally. WORKDAY was a pace factor three wide, got outkicked on the far turn and weakened. TANGLEDUPINGREY had no speed and trailed.
