Chart notes
DELAYED squeezed at the start, taken in hand to race at the rear of the field under patient handling, narrowed the gap down the backstretch, saved ground through the far turn, angled to the clear turning for home and quickly took command to be going away. LA ARTISTA tracked the leaders from the fence to be always well place and closed willingly in the lane to take the place. ALL AMERICAN ROSE broke inward crowding rival, settled well in hand to be the trailer through the far turn and showed good late interest rallying in the stretch. KITTEN'S WAR prompted the pace down the backstretch, rallied on the turn to engage the leader midway on the bend, took a brief lead turning for home and was outfinished in the lane. CATALYZED (FR) stalked the pace from four wide to the three-eighths pole, rallied on the turn to loom and flattened out unable to sustain the bid. EQUINAMOUS set the pace on a clear lead for a half, had no answer when challenged on the far turn and faded coming home. VANILLA BEAN was not a factor.
