Chart notes
RED VOLTA took command of the early lead and never looked back. HEAVENLY BEAR awkward start to be the early trailer, gained position through the turn four wide, rallied in the stretch but flattened out late. DISTORTED LOUV raced close up in the two path, made an inside bid at the top of the stretch but came up empty. PALMILLA'S BET unhurried at the start to race off the pace on the inside, advanced through the far turn before angling out four wide, improved position. QUEEN OF SPIRITS never too far behind the pace in the three path, retreated in the stretch. AMERICAN SPLENDOR raced in the middle of the pack, retreated in the turn, eased across. ESSIE'S EDGE raced four wide, trailed entering the turn, eased across.
