Chart notes
WILDCAT MINNY was away alertly, set the pace and drew off in the drive under steady urging. HOLY IMAGE raced close to the pace, bid between horses on the turn, prevailed for place under strong handling and was no match for the winner. BL FORTY broke out, rallied four wide on the turn, battled through the stretch for second, failed to rally and was clearly best of the rest. PEARL BUTTON bumped at the start, pressed the pace to the turn, dropped back, finished evenly and faded through the lane. MIDNIGHT JOY veered out at the start, pressed the pace along the rail, was taken back entering the turn, bore out badly entering the stretch and dropped back further. EMPRESS LORRAYNE bumped at the start, trailed the field, was carried very wide leaving the turn and lacked a bid.
