Chart notes
RICKY BOBBY tracked the leaders to the final turn then made a three wide bid to engage the leaders near the three furlong marker, took a clear lead into the stretch and held on. SIXWILLBERICH chased the leaders while saving ground through the final turn then angled out to three wide in upper stretch for a rally but was too late. REGIMENTAL trailed the field to the quarter pole then made a four wide run at the leader having his best strides late. DICK BEST co-lead from the inside to the three furlong marker before being overtaken but fought gamely to mid stretch and gave way. BLURT co-lead from two wide to the three furlong marker before being overtaken, tired and was eased to the wire.
