SWEET MONTREAL went to the front then showed the way with a clear advantage, dictated terms while inside on the turn, responded well when asked for her best in upper stretch, came under a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker and held under steady urging. ARINATA was grabbed with the left-rein while carried in early then moved out, settled towards the rear, moved closer while dropping back in late on the backstretch, shifted from the rail to the two path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the three path and narrowly earned the place while no match for the winner. GRAZIE settled on the outside, was roused in the three then four path on the turn, chased outside into the final furlong, swapped back to her inside lead outside the sixteenth-pole and narrowly missed the place while able to get the show. SACRED GODDESS settled on the outside, tucked in behind cover near the half-mile pole, was roused while moving from the two path to the four path on the turn and improved position for the last spot in the superfecta. TRADING TROUBLE was well placed just off the pace, chased inside on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive, pursued the leader into the final furlong and weakened. VERNON VALLEY was fractious behind the gate, stalked the pace on the outside, was given her cue in the two path on the turn, chased under a drive into the final furlong and tired. NACHO PROBLEM dropped back then settled at the rear, saved ground on the turn, spun into the stretch in the two path then moved a bit further out and lacked the needed response. CHARLOTTESUNIVERSE was rated just off the pace, raced between foes in the two path on the turn, was roused in the three path just inside the five-sixteenths pole, steadied in traffic and lost position at the quarter-pole then failed to respond.
