Chart notes
DIXIE DOCTOR was allowed to settled around the first turn then steadily advanced from four wide and engaged the leader near the quarter pole, kept on to draw clear. NICO'S DERBY RUN stalked the pace from two wide to the final turn then fell back around the final turn but made a four wide rebid in upper stretch to have his best strides late for the place. LORD RIPLEY was unhurried around the first turn then moved up to go three wide near the half mile marker and was gaining steadily on the leader around the final turn but flattened out. THUBOOT hustled to a clear lead to midway through the final turn then was headed near the quarter pole and tired. KING HAZELTON raced four wide into the first turn then settled off the pace while racing three wide down the backstretch but lacked the late response. MADCAP saved ground to no avail.
