Chart notes

DISCO TIME broke on top, showed the way in the two path turning up the backstretch, inched away under a nudge around the far turn, was cued passing the quarter, continued to draw away down the lane, and was wrapped up late. HYPNUS rated inside, came under a ride entering the far turn, moved up inside of foes around the far turn, and ran on from the two path down the stretch to be second best. EXCITE had a slow start but moved up along the rail around the first turn to track in the two path up the backstretch, got put to a drive passing the three-eighths pole, swung from the four path into the lane, but flattened in the final furlong. MICKSWAGGER chased in the four path, was driven around the far turn, but made no closing bid. SPELLMAKER pressed the winner in the four path turning up the backstretch but yielded around the far turn. EXTRADITION raced off the pace in the five path but did not factor. SMOKEN BOY prompted the pace in the three path early but gave way around the far turn. DUNE A VETTA was wellback in the two path up the backstretch and never menaced, then was eased thru the stretch.
