Chart notes
STELLA BIONDA settled off of the early pace and was guided to the rail into the first turn, well placed up the backstretch, bid between rivals into the far turn, took command and led to upper stretch, kicked clear into the final furlong, kept to task into deep stretch and held over the oncoming runner-up. SLEWTY PRINCESS settled in the second flight, guided three wide along the first turn, never far back up the backstretch, angled to the rail into the far turn then bid into upper stretch, shifted out nearing the sixteenth-pole, surged in the final strides and just missed for the win, while besting the rest. ZERO REMORSE allowed to settle, made a steady advance to the far turn, advanced three wide at the quarter marker then angled four wide to upper stretch, finished well into the final sixteenth and held for third. SHE GRINS unhurried to the backstretch, swung five wide for the stretch drive, found his best stride late and just missed for third. HURRICANE OPUS settled in the second flight early on, raced widest to the half-mile marker, advanced four wide to the quarter pole, ran in pursuit to the furlong grounds and did not rally in the late stages. CAIRO COMEDY close up to the early pace, tracked the loose pacesetter up the backstretch, vied for the lead three deep into the far turn, was outkicked to upper stretch and weakened in the drive. TAKE CHARGE CANDY settled while saving ground into the first turn, maintained an inside path to the far turn, asked for run two to three wide into upper stretch, no late response. COQUETA BLUE vied for the early lead then assumed command into the first turn, set solid fractions while clear up the backstretch, was overtaken into the second turn and gave way. GRAND D' ORO allowed to settle, trailed to the quarter marker and did not factor in the stretch drive.
