Chart notes
CLASSIC BALLAD rated off of the loose early pacesetter, was given her cue nearing the turn and took command midway through the bend, kicked clear to upper stretch then drew off under moderate urging in the final furlong. WORTH CONSIDERING settled away from the start, advanced three wide along the turn, chased CLASSIC BALLAD into the final furlong, could not make headway on the winner into the late stages and was a clear second best. LADY O'BRIEN settled early, chased two then three wide nearing the top of the stretch, was no match for the top pair in the lane and held for third. PERFECT CONNECTION settled off of the early pace, chased three wide to upper stretch and passed tired rivals in the stretch. SHEMIGHTDANCESALSA settled early, asked for run three wide at the quarter marker, no late response. SQUARE BABY pulled to the early lead, set a solid pace to the turn then was overtaken midway through the bend, stopped, was eased through the stretch and walked off.
