Chart notes
DONDE ESTA JEFE followed in range from off the rail, took the turn four wide, drew alongside the leader past the eighth pole and drove clear late. SHEER LIGHTNING sprinted to the front, went two wide into the turn, took pressure from inner rival around the bend, led three wide into the lane, put away inner rival at the three-sixteenths pole while drifting out, came under threat from the winner past the eighth pole and yielded in the final sixteenth. CLAM BEACH tracked four deep early, went five wide around the turn, put in a mild bid midstretch but flattened in the late stages. SMOKIN HOT CHICK settled off the pace, went three wide into the turn, angled down the rail around the bend, moved out in the drive and failed to produce a bid. OBSIDIAN STORM raced up close from inside, challenged from the rail around the bend, got turned away at the three-sixteenths pole and flattened out. MCKENNA MOON settled at the back, angled to the inside, saved ground through the bend, remained inside in the stretch and never threatened. MAHDI MAHDI stalked off the inside, rounded the bend in the three path and weakened. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time available.
