Chart notes
INSURMOUNTABLE alternated for the lead outside, repelled challenges then drew away handily. GRAHMALAMADINGDONG settled off the pace, advanced three wide and closed well to gain the place. IRA THE ICON sluggish early, saved ground then angled out with some energy. HURRICANES ABLOWIN trailed early, moved very wide on the turn and was no threat. LET'SMAKEITADOUBLE hustled to narrow lead inside then proved empty in the stretch. WILLISAU moved inside early, angled three wide on the turn then faded in the final furlong. HOT ROD KITTY dropped back four wide and faltered. MCCRAKENS GHOST was a late scratch at the gate on the advice of the track veterinarian.
