Chart notes
PRINCE OF AYRSHIRE settled early on racing in hand, loomed boldly near the inside at the quarter pole, shifted out three deep and finished well to draw clear late under strong handling. EXTRASEXYBIGDADDEE dropped back early on, moved up from the outside of rivals five wide near the quarter pole and rallied well to get up for the place position. BRILLIANT JOURNEY set all the pace, collared near the three sixteenths pole and weakened. JIMMY THE HAT broke through the gate pre-race, quickly reloaded, dropped back early on, raced six to seven wide into the upper stretch and had not enough in the drive. SLIM SLOW SLIDER was off a step slow, raced from the inside near the quarter pile and was even late racing two to three wide. CHICO CHARLIE settled early on, made a good three wide bid near the quarter pole and faltered the final eighth of a mile. ROYAL LUCK (CHI) tracked two deep and gave way. WHY NOT ME stalked the pace three deep from the outside and was done early.
