Chart notes
HANDIN OUT CANDY dueled with LEWIE GOTTA GO for the leader form along the outside, came four-wide into the stretch and was fully extended to hold off WEST TX RAIN late. WEST TX RAIN was allowed to settle, rallied five-wide into the stretch and finished fast. VOLCOMS FAVORITE was reserved off the pace, came three-wide into the stretch, angled out to be four-wide nearing the eighth pole and finished in a mild rally. LEWIE GOTTA GO dueled with HANDIN OUT CANDY for the lead from along the inside, drifted out to be three-wide entering the stretch and weakened late. OCEAN VOYAGE saved ground racing in the back off the field, drifted out in the late stages and failed to seriously threaten.
